Cupping Elida Estate auction 2026

Coffee auctions have become increasingly common at the high end of specialty coffee. A common practice is to offer sample kits for roasters to evaluate what lots to bid on. To garner some community feedback for the upcoming Elida Estate auction, a cupping event was hosted at The Crown in Oakland. There was healthy turnout from our BAC community as we used the event as an opportunity to calibrate on what we dis/like among high-end offerings.
